Technical Focus Areas

TreisD has partnered with the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) Institute for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing at Cherokee Farm Research Park, (UTK-IAMM – Global No. 1 in Polymer Science) and the Center for Materials Processing for R&D. This collaborative approach is multidisciplinary and incorporates many of the latest technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud & Edge Computing for the development of 3D image processing, algorithm development, and on exclusive formulas for polymers used for custom micro-optical lenses for 3D security printing. Our approach and techniques incorporate unique theories in many areas including physics, chemistry, manufacturing, human/machine interface design, brain function, and human vision.

Our Big Idea: 3D Everywhere

We have extensive patent positions focused on the Human Visual System & 3D Scene Completion that drive a disruptive approach to End-to-End 3D Image Capture, Processing, Display, and Reproduction.  By employing a contrarian approach to 3D imaging we’ve been able to change the economics of 3D by eliminating the added expense of glasses & headsets that dramatically lowers the cost of creating, managing, moving, and displaying 3D images.  As such, our proprietary system greatly reduces image sizes without sacrificing detail and dimension, which in turn lowers costs associated with the compute, storage, and bandwidth overhead, so even the most remote location & user can affordably access 3D everywhere it is required.

We have perfected the ability to digitally capture, replicate, and distribute how the human visual system perceives and understands 3D.
